Total BS. Accidentally booked in wrong town while on the road. Called and cancelled quickly. Motel said we must contacted ******* to get refund. So ******* informs me that within 72 hours, that they cannot get in contact the motel with the motel..that’s open 24/7. They were provided with my name, number, and booking number…and still cannot figure out how to refund my money..and now say they will not refund me because of rules and policies. I’ve been robbed! Making me pay for a room I didn’t stay in, that was cancelled within 20 minutes….20 MINUTES….at the same motel that ******* says they were unable to contact for 3 DAYS! WHAT A RACKET! Rob the poor, to pad the pocket of a corporate giant. For a service that wasn’t provided that would of took 2 minutes to call motel and confirm. ******* should be ashamed of taking advantage of a person who can only afford a motel for an emergency situation. Because of a mistake, I had to pay for two motel rooms,when affording one was a stretch. I admit I made a mistake. A mistake I tried to correct in a timely manner. A mistake that didn’t cost anyone anything…except me, because ******* takes advantage of the “little guy” because they have all the money they need, but still feel the need of keeping the money they did not earn for a service they did not provide. Evidently an inept company that cannot contact a motel that is open 24/7, provided with name, phone and booking number. If anyone can help, please do. Robbery!
