As a family we had a great stay. Unfortunately we only had one night. As we had relied on the GPS in the rental vehicle, we arrived much too late on the day of arrival. PLEASE be sure to follow the arrival instructions from the accommodation before you arrive (then nothing can go wrong with arriving on time).

We had a good time in your Lodge ! The dinner and th breakfast was perfect. We would come again ! The room was very clean und we had enough space as family. The staff was very friendly everytime. The pool area was very nice.

Although we only stayed for one night at the Dornhuegel Guestfarm on our way to Botswana, we had a very warm and friendly welcome. On our arrival we were invited to coffee and cake and Goetz took us around his farm in his Landy. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Food was outstanding. We experienced a magnificent sunset at a campfire and a nice glas of white wine. We loved the place! Thank you!

We will definitely never forget the time on Dornhuegel. The farm is a real oasis with lovingly furnished rooms and a super nice farm family. Goetz, Melanie and the team welcomed us so warmly, gave us exciting insights into farm life and spoiled us with such fantastic food that it was really hard to say goodbye. There is so much to discover on Dornhuegel that it is really worth staying longer than just one night...trust me.

What a wonderful place! If you are looking for heartfelt authenticity, want to get to know sustainable authentic farm life, if your are interested in all of the country's peoples' stories and opinions and at the same time a totally lovingly designed accommodation, eat fantastic food: it's right here. A huge THANK YOU to Götz, Melanie, John, Maria, your kids, animals and the whole team behind it for this unforgettable week for us and our 6 year old daughter! Hope to see you soon again!

All was exceptional during the stay. Very nice and spacious room, excellent service from the owner himself and the dinner and breakfast were better than what you would get in most restaurants.

Food and food services were super. The dining hall is beautifully and welcoming. Love the idea o f a mini bar in the rooms. Very clean and a beautiful natural environment. Wish if we could have seen some wild animals and so on. The welcoming was amazing. The immidiate natural environment was a good experience

Absolument excellent ! L’accueil, les chambres, la cuisine, les toutous, tout est parfait , la patronne est très sympathique le site est magnifique. Une oasis de rêve !! On reviendra pour ce lieu magique J’adore et mes amis aussi Le soir grand feu au pied d’un baobab, les animaux de la ferme déambulent … exceptionnel !!!
