Jabulani Safari

Jabulani is my most favourite place to visit. The service you receive is exceptional and all staff from A - Z are excellent. This is definitely a place everybody need to visit once in their life. It is absolutely beautiful and taking care of you and the the friends / family are of high priority.

This was our first time in Africa and on a safari. We were not sure what to expect but if possible, we would give Jabulani a 10-star rating. Within 48 hours we had seen the Big 5 of Africa. Our guide Jeffery, a guide of 18 years taught us so much. When on a safari you never know what you might see but every day we were on the lookout for "any creatures with a heartbeat"- Jeffery delivered! Upon our 2 daily safari returns we were greeted by our personal butler Obert, who attended to every detail. After a cool fresh towel Obert had us at our dining table for an exquisite gourmet 5-star meal. For every meal the chef would come to our table and answer any questions about the daily menu. Any special dining request was always met with a "I will do my best to meet your needs" - our needs were met every time. Jabulani staff and service are superior. We are telling all friends and family that is the safari experience of a lifetime! We cannot wait to go back.

An experience that cannot be rated in words, that must be experienced. The most magical bush experience I have ever had in 36 consecutive years of visiting the Kruger National Park and surrounds. Jabulani is a top of the bucket list experience

Jabulani is everything and more in a luxury Safari experience. My husband and I came for our honeymoon, and the Jabulani team did everything in their power to make our experience so incredibly special. Our room was impeccable, spacious, and had everything we could ask for. Turndown service and daily cleaning kept it spotless and we felt like royalty! The team at Jabulani is also something else -- Rangers Nathan and Jeffrey made our experience on game drives and bush walks so special. We learned a ton, and it's clear that they're absolutely passionate about what they do and their love of animals, insects, and plants is infectious! We loved learning all they had to share with us, and we felt like we were under such good care with them leading the way. We felt so spoiled with waters always at the ready, and during our coffee stops in the morning and sundowners in the evening. We had all the snacks, drinks, waters that we needed, all in the most beautiful setting -- the bush! Elinda was wonderful, welcoming us in with a smile and making sure we had everything we needed. She clearly loves her work at Jabulani and it shows! She and the team, including the chef, made us feel extra pampered for our honeymoon, going the extra mile and setting us up for a private dinner meal in the gorgeous wine cellar! Shadrack, our server, made us feel SO special and taken care of. All of our meals were positively delicious, and Shadrack even remembered small little details like the juice we like to have and made sure to have it ready. Truly 6 star service. Chef Henrik was also amazing -- he catered to our every preference and dietary need, and his food is divine!! We were SO full at each meal! Everything was baked or prepared sooo fresh and we will miss his cooking for sure. Last and certainly not least is the elephant experience with HERD. This was a highlight of our life, for sure. The orphaned elephant herd is truly amazing. The work that the caretakers do, such as Godknows and the rest of his team is phenomenal. We loved learning about how the elephants are cared for, how their different personalities are managed, and getting to MEET the three gentle giants that we did -- Somopane, Sobakwe, and Jabulani! This experience truly brought tears to my eyes. Elephants are such incredible creatures, and to behold them right before you, to get to interact with them and feed them, it touches your soul deeply. We certainly hope to be back at Jabulani again and again.

From start to finish, our Jabulani safari experience was perfect. Reece, our ranger, was not only professional and knowledgeable but also incredibly friendly, always striving to provide us with the best views while remaining very calm during more adventurous encounters. Alex's creative culinary skills and respect for dietary restrictions added a delicious touch to our stay, while Butler Songs' personal attention and amazingly positive attitude made us feel truly pampered. The luxurious cottages and laid-back vibe only enhanced the overall ambiance. Truly an unforgettable stay.

This was my husband and I's first safari experience and Jabulani set the bar SO high nothing will ever top it! Probably our most amazing hotel experience to date and we've been to some amazing renowned properties. From the second you arrive at the HDS airport your journey of pure luxury begins. The personal attention you get is more than we ever expected or have received! The suite- IS AMAZING! our private pool overlooking the river bed with animals crossin, i wish we could have spent even more time in it. We'd spend every afternoon relaxing and sunning ourselves on the pool deck, but not with binoculars and camera ready for action! The safaris are just perfect, 2 couples max which really allows you to embrace the moments and see everything.The jeep is super comfortable and have on board anything you could need ( water, sunscreen bug spray etc) They start early although because they cater to your every need we requested a little later start to get some extra sleep one morning. Reece was our ranger and he was so knowledgeable about the wildlife and the surroundings we felt like we learned so much. We saw ALL of the animals up close and personal! The sundowners at every safari are just perfect but the "sundowner experience" is a memory that will live with us forever. It happened on our first night and the sunset was more than we could have ever hoped for (think brightest orange/red sky that you only see in pictures) than you add the elephants walking by and splashing in the watering hole while you're sipping you G&T-magical!!! The FOOD is carefully planned and executed by the chefs and plentiful- too much actually! the available wine is impressive and the G&T are to perfection! You will not leave hungry and they are proud of that! The Elephant experience is a MUST. You get to feed and hang out with 3 of the Herd elephant bulls and to live in the moment with these giant animals is also a memory that will last forever- and we got the best pictures!!! I could go on and on- basically everything is AMAZING and you should no hesitate to be impressed by the entire Jabulani staff. I hated to leave but already dream of going back!

Nothing could have prepared me for how incredible Jabulani is. From the moment you are picked up to the moment you are (reluctantly) taken back to the airport the staff make you feel geniunely cared for and welcome. Every little detail seems to have been chosen with love, and this extends to the way you are treated throughout. And then of course there is the incredible safari, the knowledgeable rangers whos skill at finding the animals is remarkable. The special touches that are added to each excursion would have been more than enough but then you also have the elephant experience. meeting elephants in person, and not just for a few minutes. You get to spend quality time with them and see them again also throughout their day so that they become part of your safari family too. There are too many special touches to list here, but just a few: The cuisine and the chef, the stunning environment that has been built in total sympathy within the environment so much so that you can enjoy seeing animals from your room. The way that just by being there you know you are helping protect the herd. The friendliness of every person you meet. Just go! I promise you will not regret it.

Recently returned from Jabulani and had the most amazing stay again. Made my birthday extra special and everything from arrival to departure was exceptional - topped off with the amazing elephant experience!

We had a wonderful three day holiday at Jabulani, the whole experience was off the scale . Firstly the staff from first meeting Elinda to our safari guide Juan we knew we were in for the best service snd it was. Amazing suite snd we loved our towel elephant snd all the little details from the wonderful team in housekeeping ( an elephant cut out in a leaf ) the little evening notes on next days weather all with our names on .. and a small offering each night : Choccy bar, little book mark made by the Jabulani ladies.. stunning . The food wowed us every day with beautiful setting in the garden and in the private dining room . Our chef came over every evening and breakfast to tell us scout the food menu for the day and if there’s anything not suitable you could change it , we thought all the food was outstanding. We can’t wait to return one day snd will be telling everyone we know what a truly special place this is with the best team behind it.
