First Hotel Christian IV

Leider hat das Hotel keine Klimaanlage so mussten die Fester ausbleiben dadurch war es sehr Laut weil gegenüber ein Busbahhof ist und ein Park wo auch nachts sehr viel Geschrei war. Zu dem Wurde uns auf dem vom Hotel zugewiesen Parkplatz in der ersten Nacht das Auto aufgebrochen in den nachfolgenden Tagen wurden noch weitere Autos aufgebrochen. Für mich kommt dieses Hotel nicht mehr in Frage. Auch andere nicht in der nähe schade das Hotel war gut.

Beautiful hotel with a few interesting and nice lounges to sit in, and both a drink bar and a coffee bar in the reception area. Nice room, very comfortable bed and great breakfast. I varmly recommend this hotel!

Nice place and atmosphere. Generous and spaciatious room and very friendly staff. The breakfast was great as well. From arrival to departure our stay was impeccable and we had no issues what so ever during our stay.

Stayed for only one night, wish I had booked longer. Will certainly re-visit. Price was very fair. Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel itself very nice - not modern, but stylish in the old style. If I had one criticism it would be the need for a bit more choice for Vegans at breakfast and it would be nice if the hotel offered bar-snacks in the evening. Would also be good if there was a booklet or similar telling you more about the history of the hotel and area. (Didnt see such, but maybe I just overlooked it?)

Very good experience. There were free parking close to the hotel. The breakfast was very good with a lot of quality food. The room was very nice with an old kakelown inthe coner. The location is very central , just a short walk to train staition, restuarants or shoppeing.

We stayed one night and really enjoyed our stay. The good service and central location were things that stood out, also the tasty (with many options) breakfast and how relaxed we felt when we were in the hotel. I would really recommend this hotel, it is central in Kristianstad and also located near the train and bus station.

Beautiful old building, nice atmosphere and style. The breakfast was amazing, best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. Lots of vegan options. The bathrooms are fresh but old, 80’s feeling. It didn’t bother us too much, just felt strange due to the otherwise high standard in the hotel.

Beautiful building right next to Railroad Station in the center of City. Many roms recently renovated; best breakfast in Sweden. We have stayed here many times over the last 30 years and Gustaf and his staff are now rightly proud of their accomplishments. Thomas G.

We really cannot recommend this hotel. All is dirty and damaged and run down. Windows are very dirty. No table in the room. Two different chairs. No glasses or minibar. The carpets are so ugly and old. The stuff is very friendly. Breakfast is good so far. The location is downtown and good.
