This place is fine… nothing special. I wouldn’t stay here again.
The food is really bland and service was good 20% of the time.
I stayed here for their beach club… there was a lot of confusion when I arrived to. The only person who spoke English kept trying to charge me the day fee, but someone else who only spoke Spanish kept trying to say that I didn’t have to pay the day fee since I was a hotel guest. Since I didn’t speak Spanish, I was just standing there for 30 minutes confused about what was going on while they figured it out. Service was pretty good. They have two happy hours a day. Food was bland here too.
I wasn’t crazy about the area either… I preferred the part of my stay that was further south in the town, which was more walkable (shops, restaurants, bars, beach). Before this hotel, I stayed at Casa TO, which was amazing and basically the same price: that’s where I’d recommend to stay in Puerto Escondido.
