Very nice hotel, within a few minutes driving from the historical places of Hampi. The restaurant is quite good. In the early evening there is a free cultural program and there are all kind of activities. I went out for a bird watching and sunset tour with Chandrashekar, the naturalist of the hotel. Very well organised (Jeep, binocular, drinking water in the car and coffee stop. We saw a lot of different birds (driving on paths in the fields) and also alligator. The sunset viewpoint was marvellous. RECOMMENDED.

This hotel/resort was a perfect stay, from the comfortable quiet rooms to the restaurant serving tasty dishes, it was a great place to start my solo trip across Karnataka. The pool is a lovely place to spend an afternoon. If you are at all interested in local wildlife, the onsite naturalists are eager to share with you their knowledge of all the local creatures. Friendly and helpful from start to finish, truly one of the best places to stay in the area - Hampi being a mere 15 minute drive away.

This was a delightful, peaceful and elegant beginning to our India Tour, from the gentle traditional Hindu welcome ceremony, helpful staff, quiet live music, through the morning puja with the cow to breakfast on a banana leaf. Our room and all its furnishings were comfortable and cool and we made good use of the large swimming pool - a good place to enjoy the tasteful modern architecture of the hotel and its surroundings, with an interior evocative of traditional forms. There was a large array of food to choose from - almost too much on our first night and breakfast. And there was a delightful dance entertainment before dinner. Wholly recommended.

Comfortable resort with very helpful staff. Good food, well kept facilities including a large pool. We did some birding with the knowledgeable guide which was a great experience, except for the fact that it was not an open jeep. The only reason I'm not giving a 5 star rating is that the Air Conditioning in our room was not working the first day which made for a hot and uncomfortable night. We got shifted to another room with a working AC and after that the stay was good. Would come back here if I visit Hampi again

The accommodations are comfortable and traditionally themed. Culinarily speaking, the food is excellent, excepting the doughnuts. The shakes are a must-try, and the buffet dinners will not fail to please. The best part of the experience, however, lies in the wildlife adventure activities, and the guided trips they provide are great as their naturalist is very knowledgeable. They also provide informative but slightly expensive tour guides upon request. The service is good, though there may be a language issue with tourists who aren't familiar with the local language. The environment is peaceful, and if you're a birdwatcher, you're in for a treat. The pool is clean and just the right temperature, and they've even got trampolines and tyre swings, in addition to an organic garden, games-room and bookshelf. I'd say this is probably one of the best resorts you could get around here, as it's also not very far from Hampi itself.

Great set up, location. Resort/Rustic/Relaxing/Refreshing. Luv the pool and the green all over.... Breakfast and dinner buffet was plentiful. Lunch needed some attention! Transfers, transport and guides are easily accessible. And Hampi is amazing!!!!

Having recently stayed at the Heritage resort here are my observations. Received an early check in which was much appreciated after an overnight train journey. Room was fine and we made good use of the pool area during our 3 night stay as the weather was very hot. The hotel is in a good location within easy reach of Hampi by auto/car. No where really to walk to. The staff were all friendly and eager to please. The reason we don't give 5 stars is because of the restaurant. The buffet food was OK, but nothing more. The service was hit and miss . The staff are pleasant enough but maybe a little forgetful at times. A little more training is required. For the price paid ( over 11000.00 rps a night) I expect better. This is obviously our own opinion and the issue didn't really affect our enjoyment of Hampi.

We selected this resort purely on " word of mouth". Our friends had stayed here recently, in Jan 2024. We decided to do the same. The facility offers what the guests need at the end of a tiring day: poolside service, 0.5 hr of cultural entertainment of decent quality, a reasonable dining service, peace and calm,lush surroundings and worthy rooms. The daily breakfast spread offered ***y veg and western nonveg breakfast items. Our room was on the upper level, and came with a gallery nook.. The upper level has plus n minuses.Upper level rooms get warm. Bijlee gets cut off the moment you lock your room. Thus when you return the room is warm. By turning on fans and AC it's possible to comfy the room. The treetop view is a plus. Ground level rooms are darker, and more prone to attract bugs. The room came with a mini fridge with a few giney chuney items. I think the resort offers overnight facilities for your car chauffer. Guests that we encountered were equally Indians and phoren. We had no major negative concerns or issues.

There are some lovely things about this resort and some disappointments. Our check in process was quick and the team there was mostly friendly (though seemed a bit harried). The rooms are a good size with all the basic furniture, A/C, comfortable bed. The amenities were adequate and of average quality. The bathroom had an aggressive number of mothballs in the sink and the shower and so the bathroom smelled terrible. The pool is very nice though could benefit from more seating as it fills up in the afternoon. The grounds have lots of plants and is relaxing. The restaurant has a great variety of food though they did have a hard time understanding and accommodating a food allergy. Communiation wasn't always smooth. We were told this was the nicest place in the Hampi area and a great improvement from what was there before. However, they could do better.
