Staff is friendly, room is clean, standing shower, equipped with all the amenities such as fridge, microwave, flat screen tv etc. The nearest hotel from airport therefore very popular. Eateries nearby. Highly recommended.

Whispering Palms was a nicely updated place. The owner was friendly and welcoming, the motel felt safe, the bed was comfortable, and with wifi and a tv, it met our needs for a travel stop in Del Rio.
I wish the toilets had lids and that a recycle bin was offered next to the trash can.

The front desk attendants/owner was super friendly. The building in general is old but so clean inside and out. It looks very well kept up. Hot water with good water pressure is a plus. For this price and location I would definitely recommend this hotel to others who are looking for accommodations while in Del Rio. I know under this management I will b back.

Super nice manager, way stay here when I'm in town. Place has really been cleaned up well. There's always more stuff to fix, however.

No light bulb in bedside lamp. Soap the size of a 50 cent piece. No wash cloth. My dog thought it was great..

Although the AC blew cold air , the size of the unit or maybe the fan speed did not keep the room cool. It was a sleepless night of a warm room. This is a budget hotel so don’t expect much.
