The Huntting Inn

My husband and I stayed at the Huntting for a true crime festival in East Hampton. What a lovely experience! We loved everything about the Huntting - from the staff, to the bar, to breakfast, to the sunny courtyard, to our room. And you can’t beat the location. You are only steps away from all East Hampton has to offer. It is such a peaceful, beautiful place and I highly recommend you stay here.

Five stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Huntting Inn feels like a home away from home. I stay here for three consecutive weekends each summer and I am always so eager to be back. The staff are all incredibly warm and helpful, especially Sheila, who always goes above and beyond. The newly renovated rooms are beautiful, especially the gorgeous bathrooms with Molton Brown toiletries and Matouk linens. The food at the Palm, the restaurant downstairs, never disappoints and the bar is always a fun place to kick back and have a great cocktail to end (or start) your night!

Rachel was the lady in charge and left the keys in a safe place, because my late check in. All went perfect on my late arrival. The room was cozy and very comfortable Great bed perfect pillows. She greeted me next morning to have some complementary breakfast in the lounge Very nice . Perfect service and peaceful atmosphere Thank you Marc

Sheila and Chris provide hospitality that's truly 2nd to none. Beautiful room w/ luxurious Matouk towels & linens and Molton Brown bath products - the rooms are incredible. Carmen starts your day with a smile & fantastic breakfast service. I watched the EH Christmas parade from the front porch while kids, teens, and adults enjoyed skating on a portable ice skating rink in the parking area. The spirit of service and customer experience is clearly at the forefront. I can't wait to stay again!

This is the East Hampton we remember from many years ago, My spouse and I have been long time home owners in the East Hampton area and found ourselves staying at the Huntting Inn as we were in the process of moving back into our newly renovated home. Our stay covered three nights and it could not have been a better experience. The room was immaculate, very upto date--clearly they have invested in the property. The staff was thoughtful and very helpful ranging from the modified continental breakfast to the wonderful Palm Restaurant on-site. Our stay was in Winter when much in the area is closed. After going to a local movie theater where the movie and commercials ran much longer than expected, we thought we had missed the closing of the kitchen. We had but the restaurant captain personally cooked each of us a wonderful meal despite having sent the regular crew home for the evening. We could not recommend the Inn more.

My wife and I celebrated our 11th Anniversary at the beautiful Huntting Inn. The staff was incredibly professional, nice and friendly, especially Shelia and Linda at the front desk who treated us like family. The room were perfect and we had a a phenomenal dinner at bar in The Palm restaurant with Joe the gracious barkeep. Even though we live nearby, and eat at the restaurant often, our staycation there became a truly unique and wonderful experience.

We've been staying at the historic Huntting Inn in East Hampton, NY, for decades, and love it here... it just gets better every year and the newly renovated rooms add so much to the experience! The warm and welcoming tone at the Inn is really set at the front desk!! Thanks to Sheila and Rosemarie for continuing to bring warmth, caring accommodation, and wonderful personal service to our every visit!! It's like coming home! This Bed & Breakfast is impeccable on every level! The delicious hot, breakfast buffet greets you in its bright and beautiful breakfast room, where Sheila brings her personal, welcoming ways to assure all our needs are met! We love our wonderful and interesting conversations with her! The wonderful guest rooms are so well appointed, and all amenities are superior! With ever so comfortable beds, crisp linens, beautiful marble baths...we cannot say enough but that staying here is such a delight! Truly a destination worth visiting, within walking distance to shops, restaurants, near to Main Beach and is great off-season too! Chris at the resident and fabulous Palm Restaurant, always goes that extra mile, as does Joe at the Palm lounge across from the restaurant completing our incredible experience year after year! My wife and I had a great time at the Inn. We had read that there had been some renovations ongoing, and they seem to have worked out very nicely. The room was super--very comfortable and inviting. The bathroom was extremely well done and very up to date. It is an historic Inn, and not a modern hotel, so it worked for us perfectly but please keep that in mind. Continental breakfast was very good and location was amazing. You can walk to shopping and center of town in 5 minutes. You are also centrally located between Southampton, Montauk, and Sag Harbor (all within 20-30 minute drive).

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The bath products were very nice…the daily breakfast was perfect! The location was nice as we could walk the town though it rained the whole weekend so we were limited on walking.
