I would describe Casa Paracas as a small boutique hotel, and the owner has placed a lot of attention and detail into it. The rooms are clean and quite small, no closet or chair or desk. There is a very nice rooftop area with seating and ocean view and where a very nice breakfast is served…fresh ground coffee, scrambled eggs, fruit, bread, cereal, etc and the presentation and service is done nicely. We were greeted by Carla at check-in, she is sweet but speaks no English. Nelson lives on property, speaks great English and so very helpful, he even prepares breakfast.
The downside to Casa Paracas is the street noise and activity…it noisy on the street below the hotel room, with one vendor bar-b-queuing w/ very annoying music and chatter until mid-night. The following morning a man, at 6:45 am no less, was outside singing Karaoke, and very poorly.
Nice hotel, no rest.
