Hotel Santa Fe

If you just wanna do room service, relax by two generous sized pools all day, and be able to watch the beach and stunning sunset from a charming but dated hacienda, this is the property. They organized an in room massage that was very good too.

The Restaurant and Terrace are really wonderful. A great place to stay and a wonderful place to eat! Try the Tuna or any of the fish.

One of the most beautiful hotel we've ever stayed. Goo attention to detail and all well thought about. Great view, location and service. We will definitely come back!

I’m so bummed to have to write this, but I’d like to warn other travelers to Hotel Santa Fe. Long story short, money was stolen out of our bags. A sign is posted stating the hotel is not responsible for personal items left in rooms, additionally, we had to sign a copy of that policy at check-in. This was a first for me in my travels, of course it’s usually noted in a hotel’s policy, but I haven’t had to sign a waiver distinctly and exclusively stating the hotel was not responsible for items left in rooms. I remarked to my partner that it was odd at the outset. I tried to put passports and cash in the safe but it beeped incessantly and we finally removed the batteries. This was our mistake. We should’ve talked to staff and fixed the safe. But, we were focused on enjoying our stay. At the end of a nice vacation, we’re packing our bags and realize cash that was left in our passports, intentionally tucked away into a personal bag, was gone. We searched all over, tried to think of if we had moved it, but we had no need for US currency the entire vacation. We packed and unpacked over again. Unfortunately, the only outcome we can conceive is that housekeeping (which cleans the rooms daily) searched (or rummaged?) our things and took the cash. The hotel grounds were well kept, staff was friendly, it was a sad way to end an otherwise lovely stay.

Great Colonial Feel right on the beach on the quiet side of Zicatela beach. Two pools, can always find sun or shade. Great restaurant!

Hotel is in a nice quiet area, restaurants are near by. Taxis pass every 5-10 minutes. Hotel was very clean.

This was our second time going. The first time we went they were friendly and pleasant. This time I feel like they just put us in a room next to reception and didn’t ask if that would work. The older lady at reception acted like we were bothering her. The younger gal was more pleasant. Our room had the noise of the traffic of the street and everyone coming and going. Room 11 if over priced for the bad experience.

Staff was very helpful and caring. I wasn’t thrilled about wearing a green fluorescent bracelet to identify the included breakfast.

Beautiful, charming hotel on beautiful beach. Helpful staff speaks some English. Air conditioning needs upgrade; it is not possible to set a temperature, you just turn it on or off. As a result we were often cold. Spotty internet. Wonderful restaurant on the property with fish, vegetarian, and vegan options. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.
