The Ixian Grand & All Suites

I can’t rave about this place enough. Perfect destination if you’re looking for a romantic couples holiday. The staff provided 5 start service throughout our stay and were super helpful. The hotel itself was gorgeous. We paid a little extra for a spa bath and beach view which I would 100% recommend doing. There was a good variety of food - especially good for picky eaters like myself. The drinks were good and the beach/pool cannot be beaten. I saw many people complain about there not being anything within walking distance of the hotel. However it is only a 20 minute taxi journey to the old town costing around 13 euro and is absolutely worth the trip out. I must say this hotel is probably the nicest i’ve ever been to and absolutely worth every penny

From the moment we arrived we were treated well and wowed by the spectacular foyer and welcoming reception area. The check in was smooth and we were very kindly assisted to our room by a very pleasant concierge who graciously declined our offer of a tip, saying that it wasn't needed. We arrived late at night, after the restaurants had closed but they provided sandwiches and drinks to satiate us overnight. The staff were very pleasant and always greeted us with a smile. The all inclusive buffet was extensive and varied, so you could try something different from the available selection each day. (NB: I think if you were staying longer than a week you might find the overall selection repeats and you could feel a little limited). The cocktail were good and plentiful as was the ever smiling service. Our booking in the a-la-carte restaurant was a very pleasant evening indeed. The food was very tasty good quality and elegantly presented. My wife enjoyed the full 'Fabulous' facial and the spa staff were extremely pleasant. Shout out to Evi and Ausra for the exceptional warmth and friendship they have shown to us too. The local buses were easy to navigate to nearby towns or places of interest and there were taxis available for those more specific places. I would certainly recommend this hotel if you would like to kick back and enjoy quality nightly poolside entertainment, a great ambience, beautiful scenery and a great eating and drinking experience.

Hotel beautiful in beautiful location comfy beds and lovely rooms and water replaced each day and complimentary drinks in fridge. Only issue was the the wine/ prosecco not up to normal British standard for 5 star and a bottle of red to our room €66. Variety of food for evening could be improved But the staff throughout were excellent and sunbed service was a plus. Just buy your preferred wine at local shops and fill up the fridge, happy days.

Beautiful peaceful hotel, great location, reception staff, bartenders and restaurant staff all so smiley warm and welcoming / helpful - all work really hard and genuinely comes across they enjoy their jobs Rooms are gorgeous, very relaxing feel we stayed in garden view Beach right behind hotel is lovely the water is so blue !!! Magical Hotel surroundings are just gorgeous love the feel round the quieter pool area Food was lovely and fresh couldn’t of asked for a better holiday Only ask would be to switch up the food options at the day time snack bar, would like them to add in pizza or hot food snacks Shoutout to spa therapists Valentina and Panagiota who were so kind and informative we left our trip on a high thanks to them x

Fantastic week at the Ixian Grand. We had a suite with a rooftop pool which was lovely. I would definitely recommend a suite as you get to use the Alazonia a la carte restaurant for breakfast & dinner without having to book, it is a lot better than using the main restaurant which gets very busy & the food runs out quite quickly. Special mentions to Christina at Alazonia who looked after us & also Petras at the lobby bar who pours a mean cocktail!! A lovely holiday, very quiet & peaceful with the relaxing sea view.

We booked a 3 night short trip to relax and refresh and totaly got what we were searching for. Lets start with the food, the food is very good but there is still some room for improvement. The Meaty options are amazing, but the vegetarian options where lacking a bit. Next lets talk about the drinks, the variety of drinks that are included in the all-inclusive package is pretty good. The cocktails are nothing really special but for a all-inclusiv package completly okay. The room was nice, big and clean but nothing special except from the bathtub with a sea-view I would say. The service was wonderfull everyone was super friendly, helpfull and professional. We also booked a trea**ent (full body massage) in the spa with Aggelos as our therapist and it was great, he is really professional and knows what he does. After the trea**ent we were both super relaxed and it was totally worth the money. All in all we had a great time and would recommend the hotel to our friends if they want to visit rhodes.

On the first day of our stay at the Ixian Grande, my partner and I were approached about the Aegeo Spa on the premises. We had a very limited budget, but were still absolutely convinced to try the biggest dual package - the King & Queen 75 minute spa trea**ent. My massage therapist was Panagiata, and she was honestly incredible. I have a range of disabilities and severe chronic pain - I need a lot of specific care, with areas that desperately need work, as well as areas that can barely handle the lightest touch. I’m also autistic, so I can be socially awkward as well as needing certain accommodations (I can’t stand having a towel or heavy fabric over my feet when it’s warm, for example). Panagiata was kind, she listened, she was patient, and she took her time. The massage itself was the best I’ve ever had. The spa trea**ent, including a facial and assorted skin oin**ents, was my first and has absolutely opened up a world of things I didn’t expect to love. After the trea**ent, my partner and I looked at each other and agreed we’d rearrange our budget to get another small trea**ent. We were given individual recommendations with our therapists following the massage, where they suggested the next best trea**ent for each of us if we were interested. We both opted for the 90 minute Cretan Massage with hydra trea**ent. I once again had Panagiata as my therapist and honestly, she’s a queen I would have brought home with me if I could have. She remembered everything from the first time, from ultra sore spots needing a light touch to leaving my feet uncovered. I left feeling physically better than I have in a very long time, thanks to her efforts. The exfoliation and cooling masque were amazing, and the oil was the first I’ve ever encountered that didn’t make my skin crawl. Aside from the trea**ents themselves, the space is absolutely stunning and utterly relaxing, with a lovely and calm indoor pool for spa clients only. Further, my partner and I are fairly large people - for the first massage of my life, I had no fear about the stability of the tables we were on. They were so comfortable and the space was beautiful. I cannot recommend it enough!

My partner and I booked in to the hotel and the first day were approached by some of the spa staff to see if we were interested in booking in for a couples trea**ent. We had booked this hotel as part of our holiday criteria was the ability to have a relaxing massage so we jumped at the chance. One the day we had booked, we had opted for the King and Queens 75min trea**ent. When we arrived at the spa we were directed to a very calm and serene indoor pool with comfy seats and loungers around and informed that our therapists would be with us soon and asked us to fill out our medical history details. Once the formalities were done my partner and I were taken to the couples trea**ent room which was beautiful, we were given time in privacy to remove our clothing apart from lower undergarments and get on the massage beds face down and covered by the provided towel. My therapist was Valentina and I must say her hands should be insured as the experience was out of this world, I chose to go with a firm/deep massage which was both painful (in all the right ways) and so relaxing. Afterwards my partner and I were so impressed we both stated that we wanted to book in for a second trea**ent before our holiday ended. The second trea**ent we booked in for was the Royal dreams 90 min trea**ent with Cretan massage and face peel for myself. This trea**ent was provided by Evi. This second trea**ent was also truly divine, one of the best ways to end my holiday. I would consider visiting this hotel again just based on the spa trea**ents alone.

I booked a createn massage. My masseuse was Eva. Eva is a very good masseuse. She did a great job! I can only recommend her to everyone. it was pure relaxation. She has very suitable hands for the massage!!! She also is a very friendly person!!!
