Aalernhus Hotel & Spa

We had a very nice stay at this hotel. The standard rooms are fine and very clean. The lobby bar was cozy with a nice fireplace, quite areas with nice furniture and fair bar prices. The breakfast was excellent, and the half board dinner was delicious and fair priced. The wellness area was just perfect, small but with a good variety of saunas.

We really enjoyed the cosy lounge with bar - the span area is very well kept and super clean. We stayed during winter, but the out door pool looked so amazing. Beautiful with views to the pine forest. we will definitely come back

First of all, I picked this hotel because we were in Hamburg and wanted to stay in a 4-5 start hotel not so far away. The hotel was easy to get with. I will go through what I felt was good and not so good at the hotel : Hits - The room itself was excellent and very comfortable. A good mini bar and excellent shower. - A lovely swim/sauna area. (The fitness area was too small to rate) - A big thank you to a number of staff. Sorry, I did not get names. The Ukrainian lady and her partner at dinner. Friendly, professional & helpful. The lady at the cocktail bar who was friendly, efficient & patient with going through the cocktail list for my wife. Lastly the night porter who went out of his way to supply an additional mini-bar beer to my room! - The dinner was very much hit and miss. We stayed half-board and the menu was very limited. 2 courses for starter and 3 for main course. The Chicken Cesear Salad was a good delicious portion while the wiener schnitzel was just delicious. Excellent combination! - The food at the breakfast. Good variety. Misses - Staff at reception and at breakfast. While not rude, they were very reserved bordering on being cold. They were definitely not friendly. Why work in a 4 star hotel? - €7 for a bottle of water which is free at breakfast and in the room. That is outrageous. I did not leave a tip because of this. - At the dinner, there was a vegtable essence soup. It was a type of broth but in reality was nothing but flavoured water which tasted terrible. Also the fish, which was tiny with a few potatoes and carrots. You certainly needed to ensure that you ate before dinner which thankfully we did! - This is definitely not a 5 star hotel but bringing bags to the room for guests would be a suggestion that I would have for hotel management to make their hotel stand out. Overall, this was a nice stay but I was slightly disappointed that it did not have that wow factor.

It was a very relaxing stay! Most beautyful Lobby with exzellent music and very helpful staff, perfekt service and fantastic Wellness-retreatments. The Spa-Area was nice and there were refreschments to drink. All togehter more than 100% nice!!

We don't live in the neighborhood of Aalernhus bus if we have the opportunity we like to stay there again.Not only because of SPO but sure for this excellent hotel, nice garden, facilities and friendly people.

Nach langer Zeit waren wir wieder in Sankt Peter Ording. Wir wurden herzlich begrüßt und in Empfang genommen. Unser Zimmer war sehr schön. Sehr ruhig, sauber, gepflegt und gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Frühstücksbüfett ließ keine Wünsche offen und auch Abends wurden wir lecker bekocht. Der Service war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Abends saßen wir dann immer auf einen Schlummertrunk am Kamin und ließen uns vom Barteam verwöhnen. Der Pool lädt zum Bahnen schwimmen ein. Rundherum war es wieder eine schöne Auszeit mit richtig tollem Wetter. Vielen lieben Dank, wir freuen uns jetzt schon auf den nächsten Aufenthalt im Aalernhüs.

Wir haben ein wunderschönes Wochenende trotz nicht so guten Wetters im Aalernhuis verbracht. Das Hotel bietet Vieles, was man in der Gegend sonst nichts findet. Angefangen mit dem netten Personal, dem Spa, dem überaus schicken Interior bis hin zum köstlichen Essen, ist das Hotel ein Geheimtip. Ein besseres Preis Leistungsverhältnis kann man in der Gegend nicht finden. Es liegt zwar nicht direkt am Strand, aber anstatt dessen hat man einen schönen Garten, Pool und Wald und ist in 10 Minuten zu Fuß am Deich. Wer will schon direkt am Deich wohnen und gegen den Deich gucken, wenn man hier Alles für gutes und auch schlechtes Wetter und einen traumhaften Garten hat. Danke für den schönen Aufenthalt!!!

Wir waren vom 16.02. – 18.02.2024 Gäste des Hotels und hatten in der ersten Nacht das Zimmer 513 / 2J. In dem DZ, hatten wir Flöhe!!! Der ganze Teppich war voll & selbst im Bett haben wir welche entdeckt!!! Wir haben es erst richtig realisiert, als meine Tochter im Gesicht am Morgen mehrere Stiche hatte und unser Hund sich wie verrückt gekratzt hat. Abgesehen vom Ekel & dem ganzen Ärger, bin ich von der Tatsache entsetzt, das so etwas in einem 5 Sterne Hotel überhaupt passieren kann. Kurze Entschuldigung & die Möglichkeit des Umzugs in ein anderes Zimmer. Keinerlei Einsicht vom Geschäftsführer, uns mit der Senkung des Preises für den Aufenthalt angemessen entgegen zu kommen. Ich bin immer noch geschockt, wie normal es für das AALERNHÜS ist, sich dort Flöhe einzufangen. Ich hoffe mit dieser Rezension meine Verärgerung verdeutlichen zu können. Niemals wieder dieses Hotel!!!

bestes Hotel in dem wir je waren. Großartiges Frühstück, das keinen Wunsch offen lässt. Sehr sauberes, stilvolles, großes Zimmer. Sehr gutes Abendessen, das jeden € wert ist. Schöne Promenade zum Strand. Fahrradkeller mit Lademöglichkeit vorhanden.
