My recent 3 night stay was far from satisfactory. The morning following my check-in, I encountered an issue with the hot water in my room. Upon contacting the front desk, I was told that there was a problem affecting hot water on the 3rd and 4th floors, with a part needed for repair. The suggested solution was to let the water run for thirty minutes, with no guarantee of it warming up.
What added to my disappointment was the lack of communication regarding this issue. There was no notice provided upon check-in to inform guests of the situation. Instead, the only advice offered was to wake up earlier to potentially avoid a cold shower.
The inconvenience didn't end there. The key card provided for side door access didn't work, despite being reactivated 3 times. I discovered that other guests were having similar problems with the hotel's facilities and side door access. Shockingly, some were informed by the front desk that this issue had persisted for months without any communication about efforts to resolve it. There was not a single sign on the door indicating the ongoing problem.
One of the elevators had been out of service for weeks, with the same explanation of waiting for a part. This appears to be a recurring theme.
Also, the pool was out of order. It too, is probably "waiting on parts."
I would advise calling ahead if expecting hot water or perhaps considering alternative accommodations for a more dependable and enjoyable experience.
