We stayed here as part of a group tour. The first impressions were great as the staff took our luggage to our accommodation and they gave us a helpful briefing about the island. We were also welcomed with cold towels and a cold drink which was very welcome. The island does get very busy, particularly on weekends with day trippers, but we liked that there was a beach specifically for hotel guests. The hotel also has a pool but we didn’t use this. Our room was really nice with a comfy bed and fluffy pillows and good air con. We had a safe, a fridge and kettle and tea and coffee, and the bathroom was nice and spacious. We also had sofas to sit and relax with a tv. The only point I would make is that there were no shelves to put your clothes on in the rooms but we got creative and took the ironing board out of the cupboard and created our own makeshift shelf. It was so sweet that the staff left us a weather forecast on a card for the next day, and some chocolates in our room. The restaurant on the island was really good with nice breakfast choices and dinner options. Breakfast was included and we thought the food options and drinks were reasonably priced. We were also serenaded by a band who played a few songs for us at dinner which was fun. We loved walking along the pier where you could see baby black tips, puffers, needle fish and shoals of fish - anchovies. There are a lot of sandflies and mosquitoes on the island and in our room we were given a plugged in repellant along with a candle to deter them which the staff lit for us. Even though we wore repellent at night (dusk and dawn), we got so many bites so it is worth covering up at night; especially legs and feet. We also got lots of stings on the snorkelling trip from sea lice, so if you are sensitive to bites and feel allergic, we would recommend that you wear a long wetsuit or lycra pants if you have them. We had a lovely relaxing time here and it was a very enjoyable stay for us.

The hotel room which I stayed was very confortable, with wide space, big bed, clean bedsheets and near to eating places and also near to the airport. Initially I was afraid the noise from the airplanes may disturb my sleep as my room was facing on the left side of the building, but to my surprise I did not hear planes flying so I was happy that I didn't experience any noise to disturb my tranquility. The only con is there is no restaurant in the hotel so my breakfast came as a bento like box takeaway. No coffee also, the coffee is available in the room but is chargeable. Only the tea bags are free. The parking is multi-storeyed and managed electronically. You put your car into the car lift and it is then parked automatically one car at a time. To retrieve your car, you need to scan your hotel card for it to be brought down via the car lift again. It may be time consuming if you are in a hurry and there are a few people in the queue before you.

Saya menempah Bangunan Kinabalu secara dalam talian untuk lebih daripada 2,000 mata. Apabila saya pergi ke tapak, saya mendapati bilik di Bangunan Tanjung lebih besar dan mempunyai pemandangan yang lebih baik. Menambah RM420 bersamaan dengan 2,600. Setelah memikirkannya, saya hanya akan tinggal sekali dan berpuas hati dengan sesuatu yang lebih baik, jadi saya segera menaik taraf! Memang berbaloi tinggal di sana. Ruangnya besar, kira-kira 50-60 meter persegi, dan kemudahannya jauh lebih baik daripada hotel tempatan yang lain. Orang yang pernah menginap di sana pasti tahu. Sudah tentu harganya juga di sini. Perkara yang memuaskan: 1. Peralatan mandian semuanya L'Occitane, dan satu set ditambah semasa proses; 2. Peralatan tempat tidur sangat selesa; 3. Restoran Horizon di lobi di tingkat bawah boleh menyediakan jus buah-buahan percuma, wain, petang yang ringkas teh dan hidangan ringkas, dan persekitaran tempat makan Sangat selesa; 4. Dua tin kopi Nescafe dan teh tarik dihadiahkan; yang paling penting ia menghadap ke hijau golf dan laut, dan anda boleh mendengar indahnya. kicauan burung sepanjang hari. Terdapat banyak tempat untuk berjalan-jalan di luar tanpa rasa bosan. Kami ingin melihat matahari terbenam secara santai pada malam sebelum kami pergi. Kami sangat menyukainya. Bilik ini mempunyai balkoni dan ia adalah 5 minit berjalan kaki ke Tanjung Aru. Terdapat pantai dan pasar malam. Kemudahannya sangat mudah, dengan air panas dan air botol yang banyak. Saya mendapat tidur malam yang terbaik di Madai. Saya akan memilih dia lagi jika saya pergi lagi, nisbah harga/prestasi sangat baik
